Objective
To improve your skills when editing handmade images in Photoshop.

Task
Create a title for this section. "Spray Stencil"

Make your page reflect the work of Miles Donovans' spray drips. 

Choose a musician, sports star, film star or somebody else who inspires you. 

Choose 4 PHOTOGRAPHS of your chosen star from the web.

• the raw stencils and sprays
• annotate thoroughly

Below are two tutorials for creating stencil spray work. They are taking a lead from the work of Miles Donovan whose work you can see above.

Colour Characteristics - Hue, Value & Saturation.

Colour Characteristics - Hue, Value and Saturation - Home Learning Task

Over two pages in your sketchbook: 
1 Create a reaaaally good title - 'Colour Characteristics-  Hue Value and Saturation ' (Remember your type dynamics!) 

2 Collect 6 photos, illustrations or artworks (or a mix) and explain their range of Hue, Value and Saturation.

3 Draw and colour an picture of your making. Must be A5 or bigger. Then describe the Hue, Value and Saturation :)

Colouring Type

Make sure you wear headphones when listening to my tutorials! I really don't need to hear two versions of my voice in my room. 

This tutorial is useful for students who have pages of black and white type they wish to colour. When you watch, it will state that you have to make a full A-Z. Feel free to ignore this.

Within this tutorial:  copy layer   /   threshold   /   zooming in  /   2 methods for colouring  /   selecting with the lasso tool  /  copy and paste /  new colour layer  /   colouring with shift>backspace  /   select by cmd click on thimbnail

Write your first and the second name using a BAD combination of type and explain why this is the case.
